Newborn Starter Bundles
Bringing a new baby home should be a moment of joy, not worry. Our starter bundle is designed to cover a baby's first weeks and can be prepared before or after birth.
- Moses basket or crib with a brand-new mattress
- Sleepsuits, vests, hats, cardigans and scratch mitts
- Cellular blankets, muslins and swaddles
- Feeding bottles, steriliser and bibs (where needed)
- Starter supply of nappies, wipes and baby wash
Safe Sleep & Baby Equipment
Larger items are often the hardest for families to afford. Our volunteers check every piece for wear, missing parts and recalls, and clean it thoroughly before it goes to a new home.
- Cots and travel cots (always with new mattresses)
- Prams, pushchairs and buggies
- High chairs, bouncers and baby baths
- Stair gates and baby monitors
Please note: for safety reasons we never pass on second-hand car seats or mattresses.
Clothing for Ages 0–5
Children grow fast — often faster than a family budget can keep up with. We provide seasonal clothing packs in the right size, carefully folded and bagged for each child.

Nappies, Wipes & Hygiene
Everyday consumables are a constant pressure for families. Our essentials packs help bridge the gap, and include items for parents too — because caring for yourself matters.

- Toothbrushes and toothpaste for the whole family
- Toiletries and period products for parents
Maternity Hospital Bags & Care Packs
No mother should arrive at hospital without the basics. Our maternity bags are packed with the things midwives recommend, plus a little something to say “we're thinking of you”.
- Maternity pads, breast pads and comfortable underwear
- Toiletries, towel, slippers and a notebook
- First outfit, hat and nappies for baby
- A personal card and pamper items for mum
Books, Toys & Activity Packs
Play is how young children learn. We include age-appropriate books and toys in our bundles, and prepare hand-decorated drawstring bags full of crayons, stickers and activities to spark creativity at home.

Festive Gift Programme
Every December, with the help of volunteers and community partners, we prepare wrapped gifts for children in the families we support — so that every child has something to open on Christmas morning.
Referrers can request festive gifts for families on their caseload from October each year.
